Regarding 'the game'

First published in My Unheard September (2022) a Wingless Dreamer anthology that has been listed with Amazon (the relevant

link is embedded in the image below).

This work was intended to serve as a homage to my wife's PhD research (which is set within the framework of Psychology and

otherwise empirically validates play as a well-being intervention for adults).

It was originally rendered in Chinese, Sanskrit, Latin and Old Norse with the text shown below (the subsequent English creative

self-translation [including a touch of Hebrew]).

Regarding 'the game'

The state of israel

(יִשְׂרֶה אֵל [yisré 'él]) –

a term that means

‘prevailing over God in battle’)?

Wandering, travelling, playing and moving freely …

akin to swimming in flow.

Playing, being amused and having fun

may be associated

with interest, hope, teasing, banter, the theatre …

and even sorting the wheat from the chaff.

Construction, administration and governance

are forms of existence

that involve actions, behaviour and service.

You –

when acting like an honoured and venerable host –

scrutinize, question, provide guidance …

and inform.

Means, expedience and opportunity?

A journey and expedition …

perhaps even a form of pilgrimage.

Playing

makes perception, discovery, learning and knowledge

auspicious, favourable and happy tasks.

Entrances?

Routes, pathways and roads.

Playing –

and people who play –

create favourable and fortunate skill and expertise

questioning, seeking and investigating.

The door behaviour?

Play itself.

Doing, making, knowing and recognizing

accompanies and follows

answers, responses and replies.
